Get ready for a new running program to start in December, 2017! Start the year off on the right foot and join our Encinitas Half Marathon Training Program!


If you're training for the Encinitas Half Marathon, or any early-spring race, join our 12-week Half Marathon Training program, in partnership with the Magdalena Ecke YMCA!


Challenge yourself in ways you never thought possible. With the help, support and guidance from an experienced coach, along with the motivation and encouragement from your running partners, take your running (and yourself!) to new heights! 


In this laid-back, supportive, non-competitive and FUN program, runners get a detailed training plan, weekly coached runs, unlimited contact with the coach, email newsletters, product samples, a one-on-one body composition analysis with the InBody Body Assessment tool, as well as informational seminars on nutrition, injury prevention and much more! Race registration isn't included in the program fee but we have a rocking discount code for you.

What: 12 Week Half Marathon Running Program 
When: December 17th through March 4, 2018 (there will be no sessions from 12/24-12/31) 
Where: Moonlight Beach, Encinitas 
Time: Every Sunday at 7:30AM  
Price: $100 for YMCA members

          $125 for non-members

          (race registration is not included, but we have a rocking discount code for you!)

Program Logistics: We will meet Sundays starting 12/17 at 7:30am. There will be no meetings from 12/24 through 12/31 but you will have your training plan to get your training done over the holidays! The group will be training for the Encinitas Half Marathon on March 4, 2018. The cost of the program is $100 for YMCA members, or $125 for non-members, which includes a detailed 12-week training program, weekly coached runs, information seminars (including info on running form, nutrition, injury prevention and more), complimentary InBody body composition analysis, discounts on race registration, product samples and much more! Race registration isn't included in the program fee. If you're ready to register, call the Y at 760.942.9622. If you're a member of the Y, you can sign up right over the phone. If you're not a member, you will need to fill out a medical release form before you can register.
